The St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village (SAFBCV) is very connected in the community. The SAFBCV keeps up-to-date on all things going on in the ‘human services’ field here in St. Albert by participating and collaborating with local agencies, churches and many other organizations.
St. Albert Family Working Group
The purpose of the St. Albert Family Working Group is to explore the strengths and challenges of families in our community and to be active in the planning and delivery of strategies that enhances these strengths and addresses the needs and challenges. The St. Albert Family Working Group is made up of representatives from local family, youth and child-serving agencies.
St. Albert Seniors’ Working Group
The St. Albert Seniors’ Working Group is a results-oriented group that works collaboratively to increase the quality of life of St. Albert seniors to make St. Albert a community for ALL ages. The St. Albert Seniors’ Working Group is made up of representatives from local senior-serving agencies.
Outreach Networking Group
The Outreach Networking Group is comprised of local front-line social workers who meet quarterly to discuss emerging trends and gaps, new or changed resources and procedures and to keep up-to-date on what is going on in the St. Albert ‘social work’ field.
Friends of St. Albert Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) / FCSS Directors
As an FCSS-funded agency, the SAFBCV has membership and a voice at the Friends of FCSS table. The Friends of FCSS is comprised of the Executive Director of all St. Albert FCSS funded agencies and the Director of St. Albert FCSS. For more info, click here.
